The Birdhouse

The largest of the five spaces we offer, the Birdhouse offers total seclusion, glorious hill country views, and spectacular sunsets and stargazing. The Birdhouse is named for the active aviary it has become. Nestled amidst multiple oak groves on a ridgeline with views spanning 50 miles, birds of all shapes and sizes pass through this outdoor playground every day – some just stopping for a bite or a splash in the fountain; others settling in for good. Did you  know a daily dose of birdsong can lower your blood pressure and heal your heart?

In addition to being an outstanding setting for wildlife viewing, The Birdhouse also serves up a host of creature comforts:  plush outdoor sofa for daydozing, a dip pool bathed in sunlight, a refreshing outdoor shower, and a Jacuzzi on the firepit deck overlooking the ridgeline.

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom oasis is the perfect layout for vacationing singles, couples or families, with a large open-concept living space, soaring ceilings, polished concrete floors, a nicely stocked gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, and mirror-image bedroom/bathroom suites on opposite sides of the house.

Grill outside, cook inside, or venture out to one of the many wineries, breweries, distilleries or restaurants in the area. But when the sun dips low, head outside for amazing sunsets and the starriest Texas skies.
