About Us

I grew up in the Texas HIl Country and couldn’t wait to drag my husband here to show him all the Hill Country has to offer. Let’s just say: Mind blown. He was instantly sold on the area to raise our daughter and build our business, and we spent nine months viewing every property we could find until we finally found The One. 

Sparks. Kismet. Fireworks.

Since then, we’ve been working to transform this property into the beautiful oasis it is today and to build the hideouts we envisioned to share it with the world. 

Ken is a lifelong builder – a builder of businesses, structures, and even the large-scale steel sculptures that dot the trailheads and drives.

Jessica is a lifelong beautifier – a beautifier of homes, landscapes, words and relationships.

Together, we have created a restorative refuge that marries clean, modern design with the raw, unfiltered nature we both love. And we could not be happier to share the beautiful world we’ve built with our perfect little girl – and with you!
